Et: Kaarel seisis Pihlaka talu väraval, vaadates kaugemale.
En: Kaarel stood at the gate of Pihlaka farm, looking out into the distance.

Et: See oli ilus suvepäev.
En: It was a beautiful summer day.

Et: Väljad olid täis kuldset heina, ja kase mets sahises leebes tuules.
En: The fields were full of golden hay, and the birch forest rustled in the gentle breeze.
