Et: Lumi sadas meeletu kiirusega.
En: The snow fell at a tremendous speed.

Et: Tallinn oli mattunud valge vaiba alla.
En: Tallinn was buried under a white blanket.

Et: Eeva seisis akna ääres, jälgides keerlevaid helbeid.
En: Eeva stood by the window, watching the swirling flakes.

Et: Siiski tundis ta sisimas tungivat vajadust.
En: Still, she felt an urgent need inside her.

En: She knew how important it was to cast her vote today.

Et: Sedasi vaatas Eeva kella.
En: Eeva glanced at the clock.

En: Time was ticking quickly, and the polling station would soon close its doors.

En: Eeva wrapped herself in a thick coat, stuffing gloves and a hat into her pocket.

En: She knew that braving the snowstorm wouldn't be easy.

En: But her faith in change was stronger than fear.

En: She stepped outside, the wind grasped her hair, and the cold bit her face.

Et: Kuid tal oli siht silme ees.
En: But she had a goal in her sights.

Et: Kesklinna vanast kivimajast, kus asus valimisjaoskond, kiirgas valgust lumesajusse.
En: From the old stone building in the city center, where the polling station was located, light radiated into the snowfall.

En: The building stood firmly, as if inviting all citizens to fulfill their duty.

Et: Tänavad olid tühjad, lumised ja libedad.
En: The streets were empty, snowy, and slippery.

Et: Iga samm võttis Eevalt palju jõudu.
En: Each step took a lot of strength from Eeva.

Et: Kuid ta ei peatunud.
En: But she did not stop.

En: Once she slipped, she pulled herself forward powerfully, striving to keep moving.

En: Every smallest obstacle seemed large, yet she did not give up.

En: On the way, Eeva met Jaani and Mikko, who were struggling in the snowfall.

Et: "Kas te ka teel jaoskonda?"
En: "Are you also on your way to the polling station?"

Et: küsis Eeva hingeldades.
En: asked Eeva breathlessly.

Et: "Me ka," vastas Mikko, vaadates lõpmatusse lumetormi.
En: "We are," replied Mikko, looking into the endless snowstorm.

Et: "Tee on juba suletud mitmest otsast."
En: "The road is already closed from several directions."

En: Concern tugged at Eeva's heart, but she was determined.

En: She knew she must not give up.

Et: Kolmik jätkas teed, toetades teineteist vajadusel.
En: The trio continued on, supporting each other when needed.

Et: Lõpuks, just enne kui jaoskond sulgema hakkas, jõudsid nad vanade kivimüüride vahele.
En: Finally, just before the station was about to close, they reached between the old stone...
