Cs: Vít a Lada vstoupili do staré skladiště v pražské Troji.

Cs: Byl podzim, venku bylo chladno, a paprsky slunce pronikaly skrze rozbitá okna.
En: It was autumn, cold outside, and sun rays penetrated through the broken windows.

Cs: Stíny se dloužily přes zaprášené bedny a zapomenuté nástroje.
En: Shadows stretched across dusty crates and forgotten tools.

Cs: Skladiště mělo kdysi život, teď bylo opuštěné, čekající na svou demolici.

En: Lada looked worriedly.

Cs: „Buď opatrný, podlaha tu vypadá slabě.
En: "Be careful, the floor looks weak here."

Cs: “Vít však nedbal.
En: However, Vít didn't heed the warning.

Cs: Otevřel truhlu a uviděl staré dokumenty, mapy a možná i deníky dávných obchodníků.
En: He opened the chest and saw old documents, maps, and possibly diaries of ancient traders.

Cs: Oči mu zazářily, jakoby je měl plné hvězd.
En: His eyes sparkled as if they were full of stars.

Cs: Ale najednou podlaha začala praskat.
En: But suddenly, the floor began to crack.

Cs: Vít zůstal nehybný.
En: Vít stood still.

Cs: Podlaha pod ním začínala dávat najevo svou nespolehlivost.
En: The floor beneath him began to show its unreliability.

Cs: „Víte, pozor!
En: "Vít, watch out!"

Cs: “ zakřičela Lada a vrhla se k němu.
