Cs: Jiri stál na kraji ledové planiny, dýchal pomalu a soustředěně pozoroval severní vítr, který roztancovával sněhové vločky kolem něj.
En: Jiri stood at the edge of the icy plain, breathing slowly and watching the northern wind intently as it swirled snowflakes around him.

Cs: Chtěl být v klidu, ale jeho srdce bušilo rychle při pomyšlení na velký objev, který by mohl změnit svět.
En: He wanted to be calm, but his heart beat rapidly at the thought of the great discovery that could change the world.

Cs: Leden byl krutý, ale Jiri měl plán.
