Cs: Beskydy hory v létě jsou nádherné.
En: The Beskydy mountains in summer are beautiful.

Cs: Vzduch je čerstvý a voňavý, stezky jsou plné květin.
En: The air is fresh and fragrant, and the trails are full of flowers.

Cs: Jirka, Ivana a Karel plánovali tento výlet už měsíc.
En: Jirka, Ivana, and Karel had been planning this trip for a month.

Cs: Jirka se těší.
En: Jirka was excited.

Cs: Chce ukázat, že je v pořádku, protože má velké plány.
En: He wanted to show that he was okay because he had big plans.

Cs: Chce jednou projít Appalachian Trail.
En: He wants to hike the Appalachian Trail one day.

Cs: Ale má strach.
En: But he was worried.

En: The pain was severe.

Cs: Když se blížili k nejstrmější části stezky, něco se stalo.
En: As they approached the steepest section of the trail, something happened.

Cs: Jirkovo koleno se podlomilo.
En: Jirka's knee gave out.

Cs: Spadl na zem.
En: He fell to the ground.

Cs: „Pomoc!
En: "Help!

Cs: Potřebuju pomoc!
En: I need help!"

Cs: “ vykřikl.
En: he shouted.

Cs: Ačkoliv to bylo těžké, přiznal, že už dál nemůže.
En: Although it was hard, he admitted he couldn't go on.

Cs: Ivana seběhla k němu.
En: Ivana rushed to him.

Cs: Karel rychle volal horskou službu.
En: Karel quickly called mountain rescue.

Cs: Když záchranáři dorazili, ošetřili Jirku.
En: When the rescuers arrived, they treated Jirka.

Cs: Byl zklamaný, že nedospěli na vrchol, ale uvědomil si něco důležitého.
En: He was disappointed they didn't make it to the top, but he realized something important.

Cs: „Je v pořádku, že někdy musíme požádat o pomoc,“ řekl Ivana, když seděli vedle záchranářů.
En: "It's okay that sometimes we have to ask for help," Ivana said as they sat beside the rescuers.

Cs: Karel poklepal Jirkovi po zádech.
En: Karel patted Jirka on the back.
