Cs: Pražské léto v Karlově mostu bylo v plném proudu.
En: The Pražské summer on Karlův Bridge was in full swing.

Cs: Thomas stál uprostřed Staroměstského náměstí a díval se na orloj.
En: Thomas stood in the middle of Staroměstské náměstí and watched the astronomical clock.

Cs: V centru starobylé krásy Prahy se cítil zvláštně klidný, přestože mu hlavou vířily myšlenky na blížící se odlet.
En: In the heart of the ancient beauty of Praha, he felt strangely calm, even though thoughts of the upcoming departure whirled in his mind.

Cs: Lucie přišla první.
En: Lucie was the first to arrive.

Cs: Její úsměv byl jako vždy nakažlivý.

Cs: Když se stíny začaly prodlužovat, Tomas stanul před nimi a promluvil nahlas.
