Cs: Staré Město se probouzí do nového jarního dne.
En: The Staré Město awakens to a new spring day.

Cs: Sluneční paprsky osvětlují dlážděné ulice a lidé pomalu plní náměstí.
En: Sunlight illuminates the cobbled streets, and people slowly fill the square.

Cs: Mezi nimi je Petr, mladý fotograf, který touží zachytit dokonalou fotografii Prahy.
En: Among them is Petr, a young photographer eager to capture the perfect photograph of Praha.

Cs: Má s sebou Katerinu, svou praktickou přítelkyni, která vždy hlídá jejich rozpočet.
En: He is with Katerina, his practical girlfriend who always keeps an eye on their budget.

Cs: „Pojďme se podívat na suvenýry,“ navrhne Petr, jehož oči září nadšením.
En: “Let’s go look at the souvenirs,” suggests Petr, his eyes shining with excitement.

Cs: Katerina přikývne, i když dává pozor, aby příliš neutratili.
En: Katerina nods, although she’s careful not to overspend.

Cs: Prochází mezi stánky, kolem nichž se line vůně trdelníku a slyší se smích turistů.

Cs: „Mám přesně to, co hledáš,“ řekne směrem k Petrovi.

Cs: Petr se zastaví u stánku a prohlíží si zboží.
En: Petr stops at the stall and examines the goods.

Cs: Marek mu ukáže malou dřevěnou sošku Karlova mostu.
En: Marek shows him a small wooden statue of Karlův most.

Cs: Petr si ji zamiluje na první pohled.
En: Petr falls in love with it at first sight.

Cs: Ale je dražší, než co si Petr s Katerinou mohou dovolit.
En: However, it is more expensive than what Petr and Katerina can afford.

Cs: „Co myslíš, Katerino?“ ptá se Petr, ale doufá, že Katerina řekne ano.
En: “What do you think, Katerina?” Petr asks, hoping she'll say yes.

Cs: Katerina si povzdechne, ale pak pokrčí rameny.
En: Katerina sighs, but then shrugs.

Cs: „Je to krásné.
En: “It’s beautiful.

Cs: Pokud ho opravdu chceš, tak ho vezmi.“ Petr se rozhodne koupit sošku, i když to znamená mírné překročení rozpočtu.
En: If you really want it, then take it.” Petr decides to buy the statue, even though it means slightly exceeding their budget.

Cs: Marek se usměje, protože ví, že jeho talent pro přesvědčování opět zvítězil.
En: Marek smiles, knowing his persuasive skills have once again prevailed.

Cs: S dřevěnou soškou v tašce se Petr zaměří na svůj druhý cíl – perfektní fotografii.
En: With the wooden statue in the bag, Petr focuses on his second goal – the perfect photograph.

Cs: Přestože Katerina několikrát upozorní na čas, Petr vytrvale hledá správný úhel.
En: Although Katerina reminds him about the time several times, Petr persistently searches for the right angle.

Cs: Nakonec se ztrácí ve své práci, zcela pohlcen atmosférou náměstí.
