Cs: Václav, Jana a Luděk procházeli zelenou oázou výběhu orangutanů v pražské Zoo.
En: Václav, Jana and Luděk were walking through the green oasis of the orangutan enclosure at Prague Zoo.

Cs: Bylo léto a slunce svítilo mezi stromy.
En: It was summer, and the sun shone through the trees.

Cs: Náhle se však obloha zamračila a začala prudká bouřka.
En: Suddenly, however, the sky darkened and a fierce storm began.

Cs: Déšť padal tak silně, že návštěvníci hledali úkryt pod velkými listy a přístřešky výběhu.
En: The rain fell so heavily that visitors sought shelter under the large leaves and enclosures.

Cs: Jana se třásla strachy.
En: Jana was trembling with fear.

Cs: Bouřky vždycky nesnášela.
En: She always hated storms.

Cs: "Václave, co budeme dělat?
En: "Václave, what are we going to do?"

Cs: " zeptala se s naléhavým pohledem.
En: she asked with an urgent look.

Cs: Lidé okolo začali panikařit, hádali se, kam se ukrýt.
En: People around started to panic, arguing about where to hide.

Cs: Václav, ačkoliv se sám obával, věděl, že musí něco podniknout.
En: Václav, although frightened himself, knew he had to do something.

Cs: „Musíme zůstat klidní,“ řekl Václav pevným hlasem.
En: "We must stay calm," said Václav in a firm voice.

Cs: „Zůstane bezpečnější, když zůstaneme pohromadě ve výběhu.
En: "It will be safer if we stay together in the enclosure.

Cs: Počkáme, až bouřka přejde.
En: We'll wait for the storm to pass."

Cs: “ Jana si vzdychla, ale poslouchala.
En: Jana sighed, but she listened.

Cs: Luděk, starý dobrovolník, vzpomínal na podobnou bouřku z minulosti.
En: Luděk, an old volunteer, recalled a similar storm from the past.

Cs: Jeho hlas byl těžký.
En: His voice was heavy.

Cs: „Pamatuji si bouřku před mnoha lety.
En: "I remember a storm many years ago.

Cs: Strom se zřítil a bylo to strašné,“ řekl a třásly se mu ruce.
En: A tree fell and it was terrible," he said, his hands trembling.

Cs: Václav rychle myslel, jak odvést Luděkovo napětí.
En: Václav quickly thought of how to divert Luděk's tension.

Cs: "Luděku, můžete nám říct víc o orangutanech?
En: "Luděku, can you tell us more about the orangutans?

Cs: Vím, že jste je vždy miloval," navrhl.
En: I know you've always loved them," he suggested.

Cs: Luděk se trochu usmál.
En: Luděk smiled a little.

Cs: Začal vyprávět o jejich životě v divočině, o tom, jak jsou důležité pro ekosystém.
En: He began to talk about their life in the wild and how they are important to the ecosystem.

Cs: Prudký vítr však náhle ohrozil výběh.
En: The fierce wind, however, suddenly threatened the enclosure.

Cs: Velká větev se nebezpečně nakláněla.
En: A large branch dangerously tilted.

Cs: Václav věděl, že musí jednat.
En: Václav knew he had to act.

Cs: "Všichni, musíme tu větev zabezpečit, než spadne," řekl Václav s nově nalezenou odvahou.
En: "Everyone, we need to secure that branch before it falls," Václav said with newfound courage.

Cs: Návštěvníci společnými silami pomohli Václavovi upevnit konstrukci výběhu.
En: The visitors helped Václav secure the structure of the enclosure together.

Cs: Byla to chvíle jednoty.
En: It was a moment of unity.
