Cs: V Praze leží hustá vrstva sněhu.
En: In Praha, a thick layer of snow lies on the ground.

Cs: Uvnitř policejní stanice je rušno.
En: Inside the police station, it is bustling.

Cs: Václav, student umění, sedí u stolu.
En: Václav, an art student, sits at a table.

Cs: Vedle něj je jeho kamarádka Renata.
En: Next to him is his friend Renata.

Cs: Oba jsou nervózní.
En: Both are nervous.

Cs: Václav má v ruce notýsek.
En: Václav holds a notebook in his hand.

Cs: Srdce mu bije rychle, ale je rozhodnutý.
En: His heart beats fast, but he is determined.

Cs: "Dobrý den.
En: "Good day.

Cs: Chci nahlásit krádež," řekne pevným hlasem.
En: I want to report a theft," he says in a firm voice.

Cs: Policista vypadá unaveně.

Cs: Zrovna odpovídá na telefon a zároveň píše na počítači.

Cs: Je velice vzácný," trvá na svém.

Cs: Renata mu stiskne ruku.

En: She believes him.

Cs: Po chvíli marného vysvětlování vstoupí Václav a Renata do ledového vzduchu.
En: After a moment of futile explaining, Václav and Renata step into the icy air.

Cs: "Policie teď nemá čas.
En: "The police have no time now.

Cs: Musíme něco udělat sami," říká Václav s odhodláním.
En: We have to do something ourselves," says Václav with determination.

Cs: Renata přikývne.
