Cs: Na Staroměstském náměstí, v srdci předvánoční Prahy, všechny oči zářily jako vánoční světla na obřím stromě.
En: In Staroměstské náměstí, in the heart of pre-Christmas Praha, all eyes shone like the Christmas lights on the giant tree.

Cs: Byla zima, ale atmosféra hřála.
En: It was cold, but the atmosphere was warm.

Cs: Trhy voněly svařeným vínem a pečenými mandlovými oříšky.
En: The markets smelled of mulled wine and roasted almond nuts.

Cs: Jirka a Alena kráčeli ruku v ruce náměstím, užívali si slavnostní atmosféru.
En: Jirka and Alena walked hand in hand through the square, enjoying the festive atmosphere.

Cs: Jirka měl tajný plán, ale nebyl si jistý, jak se odvážit.
