Cs: V ranním slunci se nad poklidnou čtvrtí rozprostřely stíny domů a stromů, a ptáci zpívali své písně.
En: In the morning sun, the shadows of houses and trees spread over the peaceful neighborhood, and the birds sang their songs.

Cs: Byla to krásná letní sobota, a rodina Novákových se chystala na dobrodružství.
En: It was a beautiful summer Saturday, and the Novák family was gearing up for an adventure.

Cs: Jakub, otec rodiny, si sedl za volant starého vozu připraveného na cestu.
En: Jakub, the father of the family, sat behind the wheel of the old car ready for the journey.

Cs: Byl nadšený, chtěl navštívit známý český hrad a doufal, že rodina stráví krásný den pohromadě.
En: He was excited, as he wanted to visit a famous Czech castle and hoped the family would spend a beautiful day together.

Cs: "Terezo, dej ten mobil na chvíli stranou," požádal Jakub svou dceru, která se ani neodtrhla od obrazovky telefonu.
En: "Terezo, put that phone aside for a while," Jakub asked his daughter, who didn't even look up from her phone screen.

Cs: Tereza otráveně vzdychla a přetočila oči.
En: Tereza sighed exasperatedly and rolled her eyes.

Cs: "Dobře, tati, ale jenom na chvilku."
En: "Okay, Dad, but only for a little while."

Cs: Marek, nejmladší z rodiny, už seděl na zadním sedadle a netrpělivě čekal na odjezd.
En: Marek, the youngest in the family, was already sitting in the back seat, eagerly awaiting departure.

Cs: Byl plný energie a připravený na objevování.
En: He was full of energy and ready for exploration.

Cs: "Jdeme, jdeme!
En: "Come on, come on!

Cs: Nemůžu se dočkat, až prozkoumám hrad!"
En: I can't wait to explore the castle!"

Cs: Jakub nastartoval auto a rodina se vydala na cestu z místní čtvrti, obklopené zelenými lesy, kde stromy šeptají své příběhy větru.

Cs: Ale Jakub nechtěl pokazit jejich den.
En: But Jakub didn't want to spoil their day.

Cs: "Co takhle prozkoumat ty lesy tady kolem, než přijede pomoc?"
En: "How about we explore these woods around here while we wait for assistance?"

Cs: navrhl s úsměvem.
En: he suggested with a smile.

Cs: "Ale tati, co moje stories?"
En: "But Dad, what about my stories?"

Cs: stěžovala si Tereza.
