Vi: Lan và Minh đi bộ qua những cổng lớn của Kinh thành Huế.
En: Lan and Minh walked through the grand gates of the Imperial City of Hue.

Vi: Ánh nắng thu chiếu nhẹ nhàng lên từng viên gạch.
En: The autumn sunlight gently illuminated each brick.

Vi: Mặc dù họ là anh chị, nhưng hôm nay họ có nhiều điều không thống nhất.
En: Although they were siblings, today they disagreed on many things.

Vi: Lan đến đây để tìm hiểu về tổ tiên.
En: Lan came here to learn about their ancestors.

Vi: Cô muốn cảm nhận nguồn gốc của mình.
En: She wanted to feel connected to her roots.

Vi: Minh thì khác. Anh thấy mọi thứ thật bình thường và chỉ muốn thưởng thức không khí lễ hội.
En: Minh, on the other hand, found everything quite ordinary and just wanted to enjoy the festive atmosphere.

Vi: Hai anh em đi qua các đình, các điện thờ.
En: The siblings wandered past pavilions and temples.

Vi: Nhưng Minh thì chỉ nhìn vào những món ăn, âm nhạc, và đèn lồng đẹp mắt treo khắp nơi cho lễ hội Trung Thu.
En: Meanwhile, Minh was more interested in the food, music, and beautiful lanterns hanging everywhere for the Mid-Autumn Festival.

Vi: "Minh, lại đây xem. Có thể đây là tên của tổ tiên mình," Lan nắm tay Minh kéo về phía một bức tường cổ có những dòng chữ đã mờ.
En: "Minh, come here and look. This might be the name of our ancestor," Lan said, grabbing Minh’s hand and pulling him towards an old wall with faded inscriptions.

Vi: Nhưng Minh chỉ nhún vai.
En: But Minh just shrugged.

Vi: "Lan, không có gì đâu. Ai biết đó là ai cơ chứ?" Minh đáp, mắt vẫn ngó nghiêng những trò chơi đang diễn ra.
En: "Lan, it’s nothing. Who knows who that is?" Minh replied, his eyes still darting towards the games taking place.

Vi: Lan thất vọng. Cô tiếp tục tìm mà không có Minh.
En: Feeling disappointed, Lan continued her search without Minh.

Vi: Cô đi qua các hành lang dài, tới một góc vắng vẻ hơn. Ở đó, cô thấy một bức phù điêu ít được chú ý.
En: She walked through long corridors to a quieter corner, where she found a little-noticed bas-relief.

Vi: Nó khác với những bức trước, và Lan chú ý đến một cái tên quen thuộc.
En: It was different from the others, and Lan focused on a familiar name.

Vi: "Đây rồi, Minh! Đây là tổ tiên của mình!" Lan vui mừng gọi lớn.
En: "Here it is, Minh! This is our ancestor!" Lan joyfully called out.

Vi: Tiếng gọi của Lan làm Minh dừng lại.
En: Lan's shout made Minh pause.

En: As the moon rose high, its gentle light shone on the bas-relief.

Vi: Minh đứng bên Lan, cùng đọc tên tổ tiên.
En: Minh stood beside Lan, reading the name of their ancestor together.
