Uk: Сніг пухнастою ковдрою вкрив усе вулиці закритого котеджного містечка, де кожен будинок мав на меті перевершити сусідів яскравими новорічними прикрасами.
En: The snow covered all the streets of the closed cottage village like a fluffy blanket, where every house aimed to outshine the neighbors with bright New Year decorations.

Uk: І ось саме тут, на центральній вулиці, стояв будинок Олексія та Марії, де вони теж постановили створити ідеальну святкову атмосферу.
En: And here, on the main street, stood the house of Oleksii and Maria, where they, too, decided to create the perfect festive atmosphere.

Uk: Олексій, завжди весело налаштований, коли марші для прикраси будинку прийшла, був готовий підкорити всіх своїми великими планами.
En: Oleksii, always in high spirits when it came time to decorate the house, was ready to conquer everyone with his grand plans.

Uk: Блискучі гірлянди, великі надувні Санта, сяючі зірки — все це він дістав з коробок у гаражі.
En: Shiny garlands, large inflatable Santas, glowing stars — all of these he took out of boxes in the garage.

En: But her words were lost in the wave of his enthusiasm.

Uk: Його стратегія була ще масштабнішою: величезний сніговик на даху та світловий тунель вздовж стежки.
En: His strategy was even grander: a huge snowman on the roof and a light tunnel along the path.

Uk: Коли почався процес, все йшло через пень-колоду.
En: When they began the process, everything went haywire.

Uk: Гірлянди заплутувались, як в'язка лісіанських горіхів, Санта здувався одразу, як тільки Олексій його надував, а зірки наче не хотіли світитися.
En: The garlands tangled like a bundle of hazel nuts, the Santa deflated as soon as Oleksii blew it up, and the stars seemed unwilling to shine.

Uk: Вони сміялися і підбадьорювали Олексія та Марію.
En: They laughed and cheered on Oleksii and Maria.

Uk: А тоді настав кульмінаційний момент.
En: Then came the climax.

Uk: Коли гірлянда, якою обмотувався Олексій, підскочила вгору, та увесь їхній реквізит ризикував стати однією великою декораційною купою внизу!
En: When the garland that was wrapped around Oleksii leapt upward, their entire display was at risk of becoming one big decorative pile at the bottom!

Uk: Все звалилось в тріскоті і розліталось в сторони.
En: Everything toppled with a crackle and scattered in all directions.

Uk: Гірлянди, Санта, зірки — усі опинились в снігу, а Олексій, загубивши рівновагу, злигав на сніговик.
