Uk: Заметіль Києва зимового ранку розгорнула свою ковдру над містом.
En: The snowstorm over Kyiv on a winter morning spread its blanket over the city.

Uk: Холодний вітер обдував обличчя перехожих, а земля під ногами зісковзувала тонким шаром льоду.
En: A cold wind blew on the faces of passers-by, and the ground beneath their feet slipped with a thin layer of ice.

Uk: У центрі цього міського джунглю мешкав Святослав.
En: Sviatoslav lived in the center of this urban jungle.

Uk: Високі будівлі кидали довгі тіні на його страхи та недуги.
En: Tall buildings cast long shadows over his fears and ailments.

Uk: Святослав, зі зростом як у дуба і поглядом, гострим, мов лезо, відчував, як сили полишають його.
