Uk: Шум дощу і вітер билися об вікна старого інтернату.
En: The sound of the rain and the wind pounded against the windows of the old boarding school.

Uk: Учні сиділи в своїх кімнатах.
En: The students sat in their rooms.

Uk: Буря на вулиці була страшною.
En: The storm outside was frightening.

Uk: Оксана дивилася у вікно, де світ замигтів серед темних хмар.
En: Oksana was looking out the window where the world flickered among the dark clouds.

Uk: Їй не хотілося ні з ким говорити.
En: She didn't want to talk to anyone.
