Uk: Камені стародавньої фортеці Хо́тин виблискували під весняним сонцем.
En: The stones of the ancient fortress Khotyn glistened under the spring sun.

Uk: Олена, молода художниця, стояла біля башти й дивилася на величні стіни, що піднімались над річкою Дністер.
En: Olena, a young artist, stood near the tower and gazed at the majestic walls rising above the Dnister River.

Uk: Вона приїхала сюди не просто з туристичною цікавістю.
En: She came here not simply out of tourist curiosity.

Uk: Їй потрібна була муза для художнього проекту, який стане підсумком її навчання.
En: She needed a muse for an art project, which would be the culmination of her studies.

Uk: Ще з дитинства на Святу Пасху Олена з родиною ходила до церкви, але цього разу вона вирішила по-іншому підготуватися до цього світлого свята.
