Uk: У Києві випав перший сніг.
En: In Kyiv, the first snow fell.

Uk: Куполи Михайлівського Золотоверхого монастиря сяяли золотом на тлі білого покривала.
En: The domes of the St. Michael's Golden-Domed Monastery gleamed with gold against the white blanket.

Uk: Олена затулила обличчя від холоду, оглядаючи натовп, що святкував День Святого Валентина.
En: Olena covered her face from the cold while observing the crowd celebrating Saint Valentine's Day.

Uk: Поруч з нею йшов Саша, тримаючись за руку.
En: Beside her walked Sasha, holding her hand.

Uk: Він посміхався, але Олена помітила нервовість у його очах.
En: He was smiling, but Olena noticed nervousness in his eyes.

Uk: Саша страждав на хронічне захворювання.
En: Sasha suffered from a chronic illness.

Uk: Його ліки завжди були поруч, але сьогодні сталася біда.

Uk: Тарас прибіг якраз вчасно.
En: Taras arrived just in time.

Uk: Його ніс і щоки були червоними від холоду, але в його руці була маленька пляшечка з ліками.
En: His nose and cheeks were red from the cold, but in his hand was a small bottle of medication.

Uk: "Я знайшов її!" - радісно вигукнув він, передаючи її Саші.
En: "I found it!" he exclaimed joyfully, handing it to Sasha.

Uk: Саша негайно прийняв ліки, його обличчя стало спокійнішим.
En: Sasha immediately took the medicine, and his face became calmer.

Uk: Трійця вмостилася на лаві поруч з монастирем, милуючись красою зимового Києва.
En: The trio settled on a bench near the monastery, admiring the beauty of winter Kyiv.

Uk: Сніг тихо падав на землю, а навколо гомонів натовп закоханих.
