Uk: З настанням ранньої весни, Карпати прокинулися від зимового сну.
En: With the arrival of early spring, the Karpaty awakened from their winter sleep.

Uk: У невеликому селі, захованому між пагорбами, панувала метушня: готувалися до Великодня.
En: In a small village hidden among the hills, there was a flurry of activity: preparations for Velykden were underway.

Uk: Запах сосни й свіжі квіти наповнювали повітря, а дзвони церкви зривали зі сну птахів.
En: The air was filled with the scent of pine and fresh flowers, while the church bells roused the birds from slumber.

Uk: Серед цієї краси жила дівчина на ім'я Оксана.
En: Amidst this beauty lived a girl named Oksana.
