Sv: Åres fjälltoppar glimmade med snö i morgonljuset.
En: The peaks of Åre's mountains shimmered with snow in the morning light.

Sv: Det var en perfekt vinterdag på fjällorten.
En: It was a perfect winter day at the ski resort.

Sv: Nils stod vid stugans fönster och kikade ut.
En: Nils stood by the cottage window and peered out.

Sv: Hans hjärta bultade lite snabbare än vanligt.
En: His heart beat a little faster than usual.

Sv: Han hade bestämt sig för att ta med Ingrid och Karin, sina två älskade döttrar, på skidsemester.
En: He had decided to take Ingrid and Karin, his two beloved daughters, on a ski holiday.
