Sr: Немања и Милена стајали су на крају света.
En: Nemanja and Milena stood at the edge of the world.

Sr: Белина арктичке тундре пружала се у недоглед, под бледим сјајем поноћног сунца.
En: The whiteness of the Arctic tundra stretched endlessly under the pale glow of the midnight sun.

Sr: Ветар је био хладан, иако је било лето.
En: The wind was cold, even though it was summer.

Sr: Клима је овде увек сурова, мислио је Немања.
En: "The climate here is always harsh," thought Nemanja.

Sr: "Милена, морамо бити пажљиви," рекао је Немања.
En: "Milena, we must be careful," said Nemanja.

Sr: Његов глас је био мирана, али чврст.
En: His voice was calm but firm.

Sr: Он је искусан истраживач и знао је опасности тундре.
En: He is an experienced explorer and knew the dangers of the tundra.

Sr: Ветар и лед не праштају грешке.
En: The wind and ice do not forgive mistakes.

Sr: Милена је кимнула, али је унутра гризла нокте.
En: Milena nodded, but inside she was biting her nails.

Sr: Ово јој је био први такав задатак.
En: This was her first such assignment.

Sr: Желела је да прикупи драгоцене податке које ће направити разлику у њеној каријери.
En: She wanted to gather valuable data that would make a difference in her career.

En: However, she felt the pressure.

Sr: "Морамо припремити опрему за олују," наставио је Немања.
En: "We must prepare the equipment for the storm," Nemanja continued.

En: "Meteorologists have announced it.

En: The weather can change in an instant here."

Sr: " Милена га је слушала, али и гледала према инструментима.
En: Milena listened to him but also looked towards the instruments.

Sr: Толико важних података, толико посла.
En: So much important data, so much work.

Sr: Питала се да ли је мудро ризиковати и посветити се послу упркос опасности.
En: She wondered if it was wise to take the risk and focus on the job despite the danger.

Sr: Одлучили су да пребаце свој камп на сигурнију локацију.
En: They decided to move their camp to a safer location.

Sr: Почели су са паковањем.
En: They began packing.

Sr: Али, олуја је дошла брже него што су мислили.
En: But the storm came faster than they expected.

Sr: Ветар се појачао, снег је почео да пада, а ужарена белина постала је непријатељ који је замаглио видик.
En: The wind picked up, snow began to fall, and the blazing whiteness became an enemy that obscured their view.

Sr: Милена је видела како ветар носи један од важних уређаја.
En: Milena saw the wind carrying away one of the important devices.

Sr: Без размишљања, појурила је иза њега, док је Немања покушавао да је заустави.
En: Without thinking, she rushed after it, while Nemanja tried to stop her.

Sr: "Не, чекај!
En: "No, wait!"

Sr: " узвикнуо је, али је био прекасно.
En: he shouted, but it was too late.

Sr: Видевши да Милена неће стати, Немања се тргао упред.
En: Seeing that Milena wouldn't stop, Nemanja dashed forward.

Sr: Стигао је до ње управо када је ухватила уређај, али није могла да се врати од ветра.
En: He reached her just as she caught the device, but she couldn't return against the wind.

Sr: Заједно, уз...
