No: Lars sto på taket til Operahuset i Oslo.
En: Lars stood on the roof of the Operahuset in Oslo.

No: Det var en solrik vårdag, og fjorden glitret i sollyset.
En: It was a sunny spring day, and the fjord glittered in the sunlight.

No: Han hadde hørt at hans favoritt opera sanger skulle opptre der.
En: He had heard that his favorite opera singer was going to perform there.

No: Han var spent og klar med sin smarttelefon for en selfie.

No: Ingrid og Oskar, hans venner, sto ved siden av ham.

En: I loved your last performance."

No: "Mannen lo litt forvirret, men spilte med.
En: The man laughed, a little confused, but played along.

No: "Ja, selvfølgelig!
En: "Yes, of course!"

No: " svarte han, lente seg ned mot Lars for et bilde.
En: he replied, bending down towards Lars for a picture.

No: Ingrid og Oskar sto og så på.
