No: Vigeland Park i Oslo var kledd i et vakkert teppe av hvit, gnistrende snø.
En: Vigeland Park in Oslo was draped in a beautiful blanket of white, sparkling snow.

No: Solen skinte, og barn lo mens de lekte.
En: The sun was shining, and children laughed as they played.

No: Det var en perfekt vinterdag.
En: It was a perfect winter day.

No: Eirik og Astrid sto øverst på en ås med en stor rød akebrett mellom dem.
En: Eirik and Astrid stood at the top of a hill with a large red sled between them.

No: "Eirik," sa Astrid med et lite smil, "er du sikker på at du vil gjøre dette?
En: "Eirik," said Astrid with a small smile, "are you sure you want to do this?"

No: "Eirik lo.
En: Eirik laughed.

No: "Selvfølgelig!
En: "Of course!

No: Se på dette!
En: Watch this!"

No: " Han kastet seg på akebrettet, og det suste ned bakken med Astrid skrikende bak.
En: He threw himself onto the sled, and it zoomed down the hill with Astrid screaming behind him.

En: "And help them."

No: "Samvittigheten stakk i Eirik, men han nikket enig.
En: Eirik's conscience pricked him, but he nodded in agreement.

No: Sammen begynte de å samle snø og forme nye snømenn.
En: Together, they began to gather snow and shape new snowmen.

No: "Unnskyld!
En: "Sorry!"

No: " sa Eirik til en liten gutt med en sprekkferdig lue.
