No: Gløden fra julelysene kastet fargerike refleksjoner over pokerbordet i kjelleren i Oslo.

No: Det var vinter, og utenfor kunne man høre dempede toner av julesanger fra gatene.
En: It was winter, and outside one could hear the muffled tones of Christmas songs from the streets.

No: Atmosfæren i rommet var tykk av spenning og røyk, akkurat slik Sindre likte det.
