No: Våren hadde nettopp begynt å strekke sine grønne fingre rundt det gamle barnehjemmet.
En: Spring had just begun to stretch its green fingers around the old orphanage.

No: Blomster spirte opp rundt de krakkelerte stiene, og fuglene sang fra de svaiende trærne.
En: Flowers sprouted along the cracked paths, and birds sang from the swaying trees.

No: Inne på barnehjemmet, blant den kjente duften av gammelt treverk og nyvasket gulv, løp barna gatelangs med latter som fylte rommene.
En: Inside the orphanage, amidst the familiar scent of old wood and freshly cleaned floors, the children ran with laughter that filled the rooms.
