Ja: 冬の東京、築地場外市場は賑やかだった。
En: In winter Tokyo, Tsukiji Jogai Ichiba was bustling.
Ja: 新年の準備で、一年の中でも特に忙しい時期だ。
En: It was an especially busy time of the year as they prepared for the New Year.
Ja: ひろし、あいこ、みつおは市場にいた。
En: Hiroshi, Aiko, and Mitsuo were at the market.
Ja: ひろしは若いシェフだ。
En: Hiroshi is a young chef.
Ja: 新しい年の料理で上司を驚かせたい。
En: He wants to impress his boss with a New Year's dish.
Ja: あいこはひろしの幼なじみ。
En: Aiko is Hiroshi's childhood friend.
Ja: ひそかにひろしと一緒にビジネスを始めたいと思っている。
