Ja: ハルコは心の中で雪が降るのを感じながら、渋谷の警察署に入った。
En: Haruko felt the snow falling in her heart as she entered the Shibuya police station.

Ja: 彼女はコートの中で手をこすり合わせ、署内の忙しそうな雰囲気に目を走らせた。
En: She rubbed her hands together inside her coat, casting her eyes over the bustling atmosphere of the station.

Ja: 外のクリスマスの装飾がガラス越しに見えたが、ハルコの心は不安でいっぱいだった。
En: Although she could see the Christmas decorations outside through the glass, Haruko's heart was filled with anxiety.

Ja: 「すみません、弟のリョウがいなくなったんです。」とハルコは受付の警察官に言った。
En: "Excuse me, my brother Ryo has gone missing," Haruko said to the police officer at the reception desk.

Ja: 警察は、最初信じられない様子で彼女を見た。

Ja: 「リョウが？」ミカが背後から声をかけた。

En: It simply read, "Help."

Ja: すぐに彼女はミカと警察署に戻ることを決心した。
En: Without delay, she decided to return to the police station with Mika.

Ja: 「リョウからです。
En: "It's from Ryo.

Ja: ここにいます。」その一言で警察はすぐに調査チームを編成した。
En: He's here." With that word, the police quickly assembled an investigation team.

Ja: ハルコはチームについていき、ミカも一緒だった。
En: Haruko followed the team, and Mika was with her.
