Ja: 京都の静かな郊外、薄い雪が屋根の上に積もっている中、新年の準備が進んでいました。
En: In the quiet suburbs of Kyoto, preparations for the New Year were underway as a thin layer of snow settled on the rooftops.

Ja: 窓から灯籠の淡い光が見え、街全体が祭りの気分に包まれています。
En: The soft glow of lanterns could be seen through the windows, enveloping the entire town in a festive mood.

Ja: この地域に最近引っ越してきたアキラは、窓の外をぼんやりと眺めていました。
