Hu: A nagy magyar alföld fehér takaró alatt pihent.
En: The great Hungarian plain rested under a white blanket.

Hu: A hó frissen hullott, befedve mindent, amit Zoltán valaha ismert.
En: The snow had freshly fallen, covering everything Zoltán had ever known.

Hu: Már napok óta kereste a nagyapja kincset érő örökségét, de a hideg időjárás és a hó lassították a haladását.
En: For days, he had been searching for his grandfather's invaluable legacy, but the cold weather and snow slowed his progress.

Hu: Ahhoz, hogy sikerrel járjon, a nagyapjához illő kitartásra volt szüksége.
En: To succeed, he needed the perseverance befitting his grandfather.

Hu: Az újévi nap különösen hideg volt, de Zoltán nem adta fel.
En: New Year's Day was particularly cold, but Zoltán didn't give up.

En: "How can I help?"

Hu: ”„Eltűnt a nagyapám órája” kezdte Zoltán.
En: "My grandfather's watch is missing," started Zoltán.

Hu: „Az hó eltakarta azokat a nyomokat, ahol valószínűleg elveszítettem.
En: "The snow covered the tracks where I probably lost it.

Hu: De meg kell találnom.
En: But I must find it."

Hu: ”„Ne aggódj, Zoltán!
En: "Don't worry, Zoltán!

Hu: Együtt megyünk, és mindenhol megkeressük.
En: We'll go together and search everywhere."

Hu: ”Ahogy haladtak, Zoltán visszaemlékezett a nagyapja meséire.
En: As they moved forward, Zoltán recalled his grandfather's stories.

Hu: Sokszor ültek együtt a téli tájban, a gyönyörű nyírfa fák alatt.
En: They often sat together in the winter landscape, under the beautiful birch trees.

Hu: „Emlékszel a nyírfákra?
En: "Do you remember the birches?"

Hu: ” kérdezte Imre.
En: asked Imre.

Hu: Zoltán szeme felcsillant.
En: Zoltán's eyes lit up.

Hu: A nyírfák sűrűje az a hely volt, ahol gyakran ültek nagyapjával.
En: The grove of birch trees was the place where he often sat with his grandfather.

Hu: Talán ott van elrejtve az, amit keres.
En: Perhaps what he was looking for was hidden there.
