Hu: Már javában hullott a hó a kis magyar faluban, miközben az iskolában a diákok izgatottan készültek a diákönkormányzati választásra.
En: The snow was already falling heavily in the small Hungarian village while the students at the school excitedly prepared for the student council elections.

Hu: Az iskola tornaterme ünnepi köntösbe öltözött: színes szalagok és lufik díszítették, miközben a nagy ablakokon át látni lehetett a kint kavargó havazást.
En: The school gymnasium was dressed in festive attire: colorful ribbons and balloons decorated it, as the swirling snow outside could be seen through the large windows.

Hu: Újév közeledett, és mindenki érezte az új kezdet lehetőségét.
En: The New Year was approaching, and everyone felt the potential for a new beginning.

Hu: Bence az egyik jelölt volt az iskolai tanácsban.
En: Bence was one of the candidates for the school council.

En: When the time for the final speeches arrived, the hall buzzed with supporters cheering them on.

Hu: Bence mély levegőt vett, és kilépett a színpadra.
En: Bence took a deep breath and stepped onto the stage.

Hu: A kezében szorongatta a beszédét, de egy pillanatra elakadt a szava.
En: He clutched his speech in his hand, but for a moment, he was at a loss for words.

Hu: Aztán belenézett a közönség szemébe, és úgy döntött, hogy félreteszi a papírt.
En: Then he looked into the eyes of the audience and decided to set the paper aside.

Hu: „Kedves Diáktársak!
En: "Dear Fellow Students!"

Hu: ” – kezdte Bence.
En: Bence began.

Hu: – „Nem ígérek nektek csodákat, de ígérem, hogy meghallgatlak titeket.
En: "I don't promise you miracles, but I promise to listen to you.

Hu: Azt szeretném, ha mindenki érezné, hogy számít.
