Hu: A bunker mélyén Budapest alatt zúg a szél, és apró hópihék peregnek le az égből, de odalent semmi sem látszik belőle.
En: In the depths of a bunker beneath Budapest, the wind roams, and tiny snowflakes drift down from the sky, but below, nothing of this is visible.

Hu: Zoltán türelmetlenül járkál fel-alá a kicsi helyiségben.
En: Zoltán paces impatiently back and forth in the small room.

Hu: Mellette Eszter ül egy rozoga széken, szótlanul bámulva a villódzó fénycsöveket.
En: Next to him, Eszter sits on a rickety chair, silently staring at the flickering fluorescent lights.

Hu: Ma a decemberi rutin gyakorlat ideje jött el.
En: Today, the time for the December routine drill has arrived.

Hu: Zoltán, a légvédelmi technikus, nagyon komolyan veszi a munkáját.
En: Zoltán, the air defense technician, takes his job very seriously.

Hu: Egész életében szeretett volna egy ilyen helyen dolgozni.
En: He has wanted to work in a place like this his entire life.

En: He knows every tiny detail.

Hu: Eszter, a kollégája, viszont gyakran élcelődik rajta könnyed lazaságával.
En: Eszter, his colleague, however, often teases him with her easy-going manner.

Hu: "Zoltán, ne aggódj! Ez csak egy gyakorlat," szólítja meg ugratva.
En: "Zoltán, don't worry! It's just a drill," she says, teasing him.

Hu: "Eszter, ez nem vicc. A gyakorlatokat komolyan kell venni!" feleli Zoltán bosszúsan.
En: "Eszter, this isn't a joke. The drills must be taken seriously!" responds Zoltán irritably.

Hu: Amikor kezdik a próba elindítását, minden a feje tetejére áll.
En: When they begin the trial launch, everything turns topsy-turvy.

En: The bunker room door suddenly locks behind them.

En: An idea begins to form within him, though he doesn't feel very confident.
