Story Transcript:

Hu: A tundra fagyos, kietlen területe kiterjedt, ameddig a szem ellát.
En: The tundra's frozen, barren landscape stretches as far as the eye can see.

Hu: A hómezők végtelenek, a szél hideg és metsző.
En: The snow fields are endless, and the wind is cold and biting.

Hu: Az iskolás osztály ezen a napos, de hideg novemberi napon érkezett ide, hogy tanulmányozza a sarkvidéki életet.
En: On this sunny yet cold November day, the school class arrived here to study arctic life.

Hu: Zoltán és Réka, a két jó barát, sűrű téli kabátjukba burkolózva követik a többieket.
En: Zoltán and Réka, the two good friends, follow the others wrapped in their thick winter coats.

Hu: Zoltán tele van izgalommal.
En: Zoltán is full of excitement.

Hu: Mindig is szenvedélyesen érdekelte az állatvilág, és régóta szeretett volna sarkvidéki rókákat látni.
En: He has always been passionately interested in wildlife and has long wanted to see arctic foxes.

Hu: Most itt a lehetőség, hogy végre lencsevégre kapjon egyet az iskolai projektjéhez.
En: Now he has the opportunity to finally capture one for his school project.

Hu: Réka barátja mellett halad, de sokkal óvatosabb.
En: Réka walks beside her friend, but she is much more cautious.

Hu: Nem szereti a kockázatokat, és tudja, hogy nem szabad eltávolodni a csoporttól.
En: She doesn't like taking risks and knows it's important not to stray from the group.

Hu: Ahogy a hó ropog a lábuk alatt, Zoltán észrevesz valamit a távolban: apró, könnyű nyomokat a hóban.
En: As the snow crunches under their feet, Zoltán notices something in the distance: tiny, light tracks in the snow.

Hu: „Ez biztosan egy sarkvidéki róka nyoma lehet!
En: "These must be the tracks of an arctic fox!"

Hu: ” mondja izgatottan.
En: he says excitedly.

Hu: Réka kételkedik.
En: Réka is skeptical.

Hu: „Zoltán, nem szabad messzire mennünk.
En: "Zoltán, we shouldn't go too far.

Hu: Különben is, a tanárok azt mondták, hogy maradjunk a csoporttal.
En: Besides, the teachers told us to stay with the group."

Hu: ”Zoltán azonban elszánt.
En: However, Zoltán is determined.

Hu: „Csak egy pillanatra.
En: "Just for a moment.

Hu: Nem megyünk messzire.
En: We won’t go far.

Hu: Csak néhány fotót szeretnék készíteni.
En: I just want to take a few photos."

Hu: ” Réka aggodalmasan nézi, ahogy Zoltán követni kezdi a nyomokat.
En: Réka watches anxiously as Zoltán starts to follow the tracks.

Hu: Tudja, hogy Zoltán mennyire köti az elhatározása.
En: She knows how committed Zoltán is once he sets his mind on something.

Hu: Végül úgy dönt, mégis vele tart.
En: She finally decides to go with him anyway.

En: "I can't let him get into trouble," she thinks to herself.

En: As they move deeper into the tundra, the wind grows stronger.

Hu: A szürke égbolt még inkább komor lesz.
En: The grey sky becomes even gloomier.

Hu: Hirtelen, egy pillanat múlva, valóban meglátnak egy sarkvidéki rókát.
En: Suddenly, after a moment, they truly spot an arctic fox.

Hu: Az állat kecsesen fut a hóban, majd megáll, hogy körülnézzen.
En: The animal runs gracefully in the snow, then...
