Story Transcript:

Hu: Az erdőn túli kicsiny faluban, ahol a hó sűrűn hullott le a földre, Eszter éppen egy új napra készült.
En: In the tiny village beyond the forest, where snow fell heavily to the ground, Eszter was preparing for a new day.

Hu: Az osztályterem ablakából a befagyott Balaton csillogott, mintha ezer apró gyémánt csillogna a felszínén.
En: From the classroom window, the frozen Balaton shimmered as if a thousand tiny diamonds sparkled on its surface.

Hu: Eszter ma reggel is a gyerekek izgatott mosolyát várta, ahogy belépnek az iskolába, de valami más is nyomta a szívét.
En: This morning, Eszter was also anticipating the children's excited smiles as they entered the school, but something else was weighing on her heart.

Hu: Zoltán, a falu bölcs halásza, akit mindenki tisztelt, nehéz időket élt meg.

Hu: Egy nap, miközben a hó tovább szitált, Eszter meglátogatta Zoltánt a tóparti házában.
En: One day, while the snow continued to drift, Eszter visited Zoltán at his lakeside house.

Hu: A halász egyedül ült, a kályha mellett, és halat tisztított.
En: The fisherman sat alone by the stove, cleaning fish.

Hu: „Zoltán bácsi, jobban van ma?” – kérdezte aggódva.
En: "Uncle Zoltán, are you feeling better today?" she asked worriedly.

Hu: „Nem panaszkodom, Eszterkém. A természet majd meggyógyít” – mosolygott Zoltán, bár az arca sápadt volt.
En: "I can't complain, my dear Eszter. Nature will heal me," Zoltán smiled, though his face was pale.

Hu: Este közeledett, és egyre erősebb hóvihar tört a falu nyakába.
En: Evening was approaching, and a stronger snowstorm was closing in on the village.

Hu: Hirtelen Zoltán hangos kiáltását hallotta Eszter.
En: Suddenly, Eszter heard Zoltán's loud shout.

Hu: A férfi összeroskadt a kis konyhában.
En: The man had collapsed in the small kitchen.

Hu: Szíve gyorsan vert, de tudta, cselekednie kell.
En: Her heart raced, but she knew she had to act.

Hu: A telefonjáért nyúlt, és mentőt hívott, ügyet sem vetve Zoltán korábbi tiltakozásaira.
En: She reached for her phone and called an ambulance, disregarding Zoltán's previous protests.

Hu: A mentők hamar odaértek, és bár Zoltán eleinte nem akarta elhagyni a házát, Eszter szeretetteljes határozottsággal kérlelte, hogy menjen.
En: The paramedics arrived quickly, and though Zoltán initially didn't want to leave his home, Eszter pleaded with loving firmness for him to go.

Hu: „Zoltán bácsi, a falu nem lenne ugyanaz nélküled. Gondolj ránk, akiknek szüksége van rád” – kérlelte.
