Story Transcript:

He: נדה אדו היה קר ומכריח זוג לשם.
En: Neda Ado was cold and led the couple onward.

He: שירה הסתכלה עליו בעיניים דואגות, כאשר הם צעדו בשביל בביצה הערפילית, תחת שמיים חורפיים.
En: Shira looked at him with worried eyes as they walked along the path in the misty swamp under winter skies.

He: "תראה," נדה אמר בקול נמוך, "אנחנו חייבים להגיע לעץ העתיק.
En: "Look," Neda said in a low voice, "We must reach the ancient tree.

He: אומרים שהוא מביא מזל טוב.
En: They say it brings good luck."

He: "שירה נאנחה בליבה אבל לא הרשתה לעצמה להראות את דאגתה.
En: Shira sighed inwardly but did not allow herself to show her concern.

He: "נדה, אני יודעת שזה חשוב לך, אבל אנחנו צריכים להיות זהירים.
En: "Neda, I know this is important to you, but we need to be careful.

He: הערפל הזה מסוכן.
En: This fog is dangerous."

He: "אפילו שעננים סמיכים כיסו את השמיים, נדה התעקש להמשיך בכיוון.
En: Even though thick clouds covered the sky, Neda insisted on continuing in the direction.

He: ליבו פיעם בחוזקה ככל שהערפל התעבה והסתרה את הדרך.
En: His heart pounded harder as the fog thickened and obscured the path.

He: "אני בסדר," הוא אמר לשירה כשחשה שהוא מתקשה לנשום.
En: "I'm fine," he told Shira when she sensed he was struggling to breathe.

He: אבל היא הבחינה במשהו לא בסדר.
En: But she noticed something was wrong.

He: "בבקשה, תגיד לי אם אתה זקוק לעזרה," היא אמרה בעדינות אך בנחישות.
En: "Please, tell me if you need help," she said gently but firmly.

He: נדה התימר שיש לו כוח להמשיך לבד, אך כשהם קרבו לעץ העתיק, התחזק כאב חזהו.
En: Neda pretended he had the strength to continue on his own, but as they neared the ancient tree, his chest pain intensified.

He: בגלל גאוותו, הוא לחץ קדימה.
En: Due to his pride, he pushed forward.

He: אך לפתע, הרגיש סחרחורת ונפל על הקרקע הרכה והבוצית.
En: But suddenly, he felt dizzy and fell onto the soft, muddy ground.

En: Shira was frightened but kept her composure.

En: She knew they had to act quickly.

He: "נדה!
En: "Neda!

He: תישאר איתי!
En: Stay with me!"

En: she shouted, pulling him under the famous tree, and started calling for help.

En: Thank you, Shira.

En: I'm sorry I didn't listen earlier."

He: "שירה חייכה בהקלה וברוך הניחה את ידה על ידו.
En: Shira smiled in relief and gently placed her hand on his.

He: "אל תדאג.
En: "Don't worry.

He: אני תמיד כאן בשבילך.
En: I'm always here for you."
