Story Transcript:

He: הכוכבים נוצצים מעל בית הספר, והקור החורפי מביא תחושת התרגשות לחדר כושר שבו נערך מופע הכשרונות לכבוד חנוכה.
En: The stars twinkle above the beit hasefer, and the winter chill brings a sense of excitement to the gymnasium where the talent show is being held in honor of Hanukkah.

He: מעל הבמה מתנוססים שרשראות אורות צבעוניים וכרזות צבעוניות.
En: Colorful light chains and banners are draped above the stage.

He: התלמידים והמורים ישובים על כיסאות מתקפלים, וממתינים בנשימה עצורה למופע החגיגי.
En: The students and teachers sit on folding chairs, waiting with bated breath for the festive show.

He: ארי, תלמיד כיתה י"א שאפתן ובעל ביטחון עצמי גבוה, מתכונן למופע שלו.
En: Ari, an ambitious eleventh grader with high self-confidence, is preparing for his performance.

He: "זה יהיה מופע שאף אחד לא ישכח," הוא אומר לנועם, חברו הטוב ביותר.
En: "This will be a show no one will forget," he tells Noam, his best friend.

En: Shira, his buddy with a cute sense of humor, joins the conversation.

He: "ארי, אולי תחשוב שוב על התוכנית שלך?
En: "Ari, maybe you should rethink your plan?

He: זה יכול להיגמר במבוכה רצינית.
En: It could end in serious embarrassment."

He: " בינתיים, על הבמה, ארי עומד מול הפנסים המהבהבים.
En: Meanwhile, on stage, Ari stands before the flashing spotlights.

En: He begins to juggle candles and sing Hanukkah songs.

He: ברגע הראשון הכל נראה לפי התכנון, אך מהר מאוד מתברר שהריכוז שלו לא מספיק.
En: At first, everything seems to go according to plan, but it's quickly evident that his concentration isn't enough.

He: נרות נופלים ומשאירים ארי במצב מגוחך מול הקהל המשתעשע.
En: Candles fall, leaving Ari in a ridiculous situation in front of the amused audience.

He: ברגע ההתלקחות, שירה ניגשת לארבע הבמה ואומרת, "טוב, לפחות עכשיו אין צורך להדליק עוד פעם נרות!
