Story Transcript:

He: בוקר שבת היה רגוע בשכונה הקטנה.
En: A Saturday morning was calm in the small neighborhood.

He: השמש בקושי הפציעה ומעט שלג עוד כיסה את המדרכות אחרי יום קר של חורף.
En: The sun barely peeked out, and a little snow still covered the sidewalks after a cold winter's day.

He: אבי יצא מביתו, קטן ורענן, מלווה בכלבו הנרגש, לראשונה מאז שעבר.
En: Avi left his house, small and refreshed, accompanied by his excited dog, for the first time since he moved.

He: הוא הרגיש קצת לבד בעיר החדשה, אבל קיווה שהפגישה הבאה תשנה זאת.
En: He felt a bit lonely in the new city but hoped the upcoming meeting would change that.

He: בפארק הקטן בשכונה עמדו עצים ישנים, ומהם נתלו אביזרים צבעוניים לכבוד פורים הקרב.
En: In the neighborhood's small park stood old trees, adorned with colorful decorations for the approaching Purim.
