Story Transcript:

He: מיכה עמד ליד החלון ונשף עמוקות.
En: Micha stood by the window and took a deep breath.

He: בחוץ, השמיים היו אפורים ומאיימים, אבל בפנים, בבית הקפה בתל אביב, היה חמים ומוכר.
En: Outside, the sky was gray and threatening, but inside, in the cafe in Tel Aviv, it was warm and familiar.

He: מקום שהבין אותו תמיד כשהשמש זורחת או כשגשם יורד.
En: A place that always understood him whether the sun was shining or it was raining.

He: הדייט הראשון שלו עם לאה, חברה חדשה שאבי הכיר לו, היה צריך להיות רגע מיוחד.
En: His first date with Leah, a new friend whom Avi introduced to him, was supposed to be a special moment.

He: לאה נכנסה וצחקה, "שלום, מיכה! אתה נראה קצת לחוץ.
En: Leah entered and laughed, "Hello, Micha! You look a bit tense.

He: הכל בסדר?" שאלה בחיוך מרגיע.
En: Is everything okay?" she asked with a calming smile.

He: מיכה ניסה להסתיר את ההתרגשות, "כן, בטח.
En: Micha tried to hide his excitement, "Yes, sure.

He: תמיד טוב להיות פה.
En: It's always good to be here.

He: את אוהבת קפה?"
En: Do you like coffee?"

He: הם התיישבו ופגישה כשהתאוריה מלאים בקולות צחוק והנערי מלצריות מצחקקות שעובדות בזריזות בין השולחנות.
En: They sat down and chatted as the air was filled with sounds of laughter and the giggles of the young waitresses who worked swiftly between the tables.

He: אך השמיים אפורים התחילו לשלוח טיפות גשם כבדות, התחילו להשאיר סימנים על החלונות הכחולים.
En: But the gray skies began sending heavy raindrops, starting to leave marks on the blue windows.

He: מיכה התחיל לחשוב מה לעשות.
En: Micha started to think about what to do.

He: "אולי כדאי לזוז מכאן לפני שיתחיל הסופה," הוא אמר בדאגה.
En: "Maybe we should leave before the storm starts," he said with concern.

En: But Leah was relaxed, "Rain is just water.

En: Maybe it’ll be fun to try something different."

He: מיכה הופתע ולא ידע אם להסכים או להמשיך לחשוב איך להביא מונית.
En: Micha was surprised and didn't know whether to agree or keep thinking about hailing a cab.

He: פתאום הגשם החל לרדת בעוצמה, ושניהם רצו החוצה, צוחקים ומחזיקים ידיים כדי לא להחליק על המדרכות הרטובות.
En: Suddenly, the rain began to pour down with force, and both of them ran outside, laughing and holding hands to avoid slipping on the wet sidewalks.

He: מיכה הרגיש את המים זורמים עליו, ההרגשה הייתה שונה, בקיץ היה חם ועכשיו רטוב וקריר.
En: Micha felt the water flowing over him, the feeling was different—warm in the summer and now wet and cool.

He: הוא הביט בלאה שחייכה אליו, ולפתע כל הדאגות נעלמו.
En: He looked at Leah smiling at him, and suddenly all the worries vanished.

He: "תראה, אולי נרקוד?" שאלה לאה בביטחון מפתיע.
En: "Look, maybe we should dance?" suggested Leah with surprising confidence.

En: Micha looked at her and couldn't stop laughing.

En: They started to dance, under the heavy rain, and suddenly the square cleared of people.

En: After a while, they returned to the cafe, damp and excited.

He: מיכה ולאה התיישבו בפינה שקטה, והמלצרית הגישה להם שתי כוסות תה מהבילות.
En: Micha and Leah sat in a quiet corner, and the waitress served them two...
