He: שיר מבוקר אביבי, השמש זרחה בהיר מעל רמת הגולן.
En: A song from a spring morning; the sun shone brightly over the Ramat HaGolan.

He: שירה ישבה על דשא ירוק רך, ליד פריחת הברוקולי והמדריך שלה, איתן.
En: Shira sat on soft green grass, near the blooming broccoli and her guide, Eitan.

He: היא הגיעה לכאן מרחוק.
En: She had come here from afar.

He: תל אביב הייתה עיר עם רעשים שלא נפסקו, ושירה חיפשה שקט.
En: Tel Aviv was a city with endless noise, and Shira sought peace.
