Story Transcript:

He: בבית הספר התיכון, בין הגימנסיה לבין המגרש המקורה, התקיים היום יום הצבעה חגיגי.
En: At the high school, between the Gimnasia and the covered field, a festive voting day was held today.

He: אנשים עמדו בתור, מעילים עבים מקופלים על ידיהם ונשימותיהם חמות באוויר הקר של חורף.
En: People stood in line, thick coats folded over their arms, and their breaths warm in the cold winter air.

He: היה זה ערב חנוכה ושמחת החג הייתה באוויר, אבל בבוקר הזה כולם היו רציניים, ממוקדים בתפקידם האזרחי.
En: It was the eve of Chanukah, and the joy of the holiday was in the air, but this morning everyone was serious, focused on their civic duty.

He: תמר עמדה בתור, מחכה לתורה להיכנס לתא הצבעה.
En: Tamar stood in line, waiting for her turn to enter the voting booth.

En: She was excited and still a little worried.

En: Tamar took a deep breath.

En: Tamar came out of the booth with a light laugh, and Oren and Miriam, who were standing behind her in line, approached to congratulate her with a smile.

En: "That's it, you've finished with drama and got through it," said Oren with a cheerful tone.
