He: רוח קרירה נשבה בין עצי היער, כשפניו של אבנר הופנו אל השמש החורף הקלילה שזחלה מאחורי העננים.
En: A cool breeze blew between the forest trees as Avner turned his face towards the light winter sun creeping out from behind the clouds.

He: היה זה יום ט"ו בשבט, וחגיגות קטנות נערכו בשבילים המתרחבים של הקיבוץ הישן.
En: It was Tu Bishvat, and small celebrations took place along the expanding paths of the old kibbutz.

He: אך בלבו של אבנר, סערה התרחשה.
En: But inside Avner, a storm was brewing.

En: He knew this was the right day for change.

He: "ליאה נשמה עמוקות, עיניה פונות לאדמה הקרה.
En: Leah took a deep breath, her eyes on the cold ground.

He: ״זה לא קל, אבנר,״ היא אמרה, וקולה נסדק מעט.
En: "It's not easy, Avner," she said, her voice cracking a little.

He: ״אני עדיין פגועה.
En: "I'm still hurt."

He: ״אבנר השפיל מבטו, משתדלים למצוא את המילים הנכונות.
En: Avner lowered his gaze, trying to find the right words.

He: ״אני יודע שטעיתי.
En: "I know I was wrong.

He: אני מצטער, ליאה.
En: I'm sorry, Leah.

He: בואי נתחיל מחדש, כמו העץ הזה, שמתחיל לצמוח דווקא בעונה הזאת.
En: Let's start anew, like this tree that begins to grow even in this season."

He: ״השניים ניצבו ליד השתיל הצעיר.
En: The two stood by the young sapling.

He: אבנר החזיק את המעדר בעוד ליאה יישרה את השורשים בעדינות.
En: Avner held the spade while Leah gently straightened the roots.

En: It was a new beginning.
