Nl: Het was een stralende lentedag.
En: It was a radiant spring day.

Nl: De zon scheen warm en helder in de Keukenhof-tuinen.
En: The sun shone warm and bright in the Keukenhof gardens.

Nl: De lucht was gevuld met de vrolijke geluiden van mensen gehuld in oranje, zwaaiend met vlaggetjes voor Koningsdag.
En: The air was filled with the cheerful sounds of people dressed in orange, waving flags for Koningsdag.

Nl: Tussen de kleurrijke tulpen stond Lotte, met haar kloppend hart en een vleugje zenuwen in haar maag.
