Nl: In het kleine dorpje, ergens in het rustige groene landschap van Nederland, stond de dorpsschool.
En: In the small village, somewhere in the quiet green landscape of Nederland, stood the village school.

Nl: Het was een oude school, omringd door uitgestrekte velden die in de lente vol kleurige bloemen stonden.
En: It was an old school, surrounded by vast fields that in the spring were filled with colorful flowers.

Nl: De leerlingen waren druk bezig met de laatste voorbereidingen voor hun eindproject.
En: The students were busy with the final preparations for their end-of-year project.

Nl: Voor Sanne was dit een bijzonder belangrijke dag.
En: For Sanne, this was an especially important day.

Nl: Ze had wekenlang hard gewerkt aan de presentatie voor het eindejaarsproject.
En: She had worked hard for weeks on the presentation for the year-end project.
