Ca: La Júlia mirava per la finestra el paisatge nevat.
En: Júlia looked out the window at the snowy landscape.

Ca: La casa feia olor de cafè i espelmes.
En: The house smelled of coffee and candles.

Ca: El calendari de la cuina marcava un any des del forta discussió amb la seva germana, la Laia.
En: The calendar in the kitchen marked a year since the big argument with her sister, Laia.

Ca: Aquella separació la colpeixia més amb cada dia que passava.
En: That separation hit her harder with each passing day.

Ca: El cor de la Júlia estava pesat de remordiments.
