Ca: L'aire del matí d'estiu era càlid i el soroll de la ciutat entrava pels carrers de l'Eixample.
En: The summer morning air was warm, and the noise of the city flowed through the streets of l'Eixample.

Ca: Al Hospital Clínic de Barcelona, el sol entrava per les grans finestres, il·luminant els passadissos mentre els metges i infermeres es movien ràpidament.
En: At the Hospital Clínic de Barcelona, the sun streamed through the large windows, illuminating the corridors as doctors and nurses moved quickly.

Ca: Núria, una jove artista de vint-i-vuit anys, estava estirada en una llitera.
