Ca: A la gran sala de la casa familiar a Barcelona, la llum del sol de finals d'estiu pintava les parets amb un to càlid.
En: In the grand room of the family home in Barcelona, the late summer sunlight painted the walls with a warm hue.

Ca: La Laia, amb una llista a la mà i el front lleugerament arrufat, es movia amb pas decidit.
En: Laia, with a list in hand and a slightly furrowed brow, moved with determined steps.

Ca: Aquesta festa d'aniversari seria perfecta.
En: This birthday party would be perfect.

Ca: Els seus pares es mereixien una celebració especial per commemorar els seus trenta anys junts.
En: Her parents deserved a special celebration to commemorate their thirty years together.

Ca: En aquell moment, en Pere estava assegut al sofà, revisant el mòbil.
En: At that moment, Pere was seated on the sofa, checking his phone.

Ca: "Pere, podries portar les cadires al jardí?

Ca: Així no hem de preocupar-nos avui.
En: That way we don't have to worry today."

Ca: " La Laia va sospirar, negant amb el cap.
En: Laia sighed, shaking her head.

Ca: "Els nostres pares tornen demà, Pere.
En: "Our parents return tomorrow, Pere.

Ca: Necessitem tot llest avui!
En: We need everything ready today!"

Ca: "Mentrestant, la Sílvia, la seva cosina amb una imaginació desbordant, ja enfilava llumetes al porxo.
En: Meanwhile, Sílvia, their cousin with an overflowing imagination, was already stringing lights along the porch.

Ca: "Com creus que quedarien unes llanternes de paper?
En: "How do you think paper lanterns would look?"

Ca: ", preguntava, amb els ulls brillants d'emoció.

Ca: La Laia va somriure, reconeixent l'impuls creatiu de la seva cosina.

Ca: Pots fer-les mentre jo organitzo la resta?

Ca: "Amb aquest pla en marxa, l'equip va treballar ràpidament.

Ca: La cuina va començar a omplir-se d'aromes deliciosos, gràcies a la dieta mediterrània que la Laia havia planificat curosament.
