Parable of the Sower

There are four different kinds of people in the world, and indeed in what is called the church in this age.  These four categories are identified by our Lord in the parable of the sower, that each man may examine where he stands with the Lord.  There is only one way of salvation and that through the Son of God, Jesus Christ and His atoning death on the Cross.  Apart from Christ Jesus there can be no forgiveness or salvation.  Sadly in this parable the Lord tells us only a minority will receive the Word and be saved, how terrible and sad for mankind.  

We have a lot to learn from the Lord of life Himself in the parables He spoke during His earthly ministry and we will do well do trust and obey His words in order that we can be saved.

There is only ONE way to be a Christian!
