Blasphemy - The Blood of Jesus Christ

The Lord Jesus Christ came into the world as a man for one singular purpose: to propitiate for the sins of men and reconcile us to God the Father. He achieved that one goal by letting Himself be crucified on a cross at Calvary, thereby paying the full and only acceptable price for the sins of men before God the Father. All who turn to Him are hence free to live apart from sin having been forgiven because of that once-for-all sacrifice.

It is disheartening to hear so-called Christians of the African race ignorantly and foolishly attempt to use the blood once-for-all shed for the remission of sins as a weapon against their imaginary or perceived enemies, and as some kind of incantation to ward off imagined evil. This not only evidences the ignorance of the ones chanting the 'blood of Jesus' flippantly and their false teachers, it is blasphemous against the majesty of our Lord and Saviour who is our God.

People who live in such ignorance clearly have no knowledge of the God they claim they serve, nor do they have any inheritance in His Kingdom.

There is only ONE way to be a Christian!
