Gabby Boulding, MSc., CAT(C)
MAKING CONNECTIONS BY ASKING WHAT MATTERS

Gabby started her journey at the University of Guelph with a degree in Human Kinetics and while working with the Gryphons football team. She went on to do her athletic therapy degree at Sheridan, graduating in 2019 and then on across the pond to complete her Masters of Performance Psychology at the University of Edinburgh.

She has already had two papers recognized by the CATA:
In 2019, she won the literature writing award for candidates for her article:
Kinesiophobia and its Impairment of Successful Return to Sport After Anterior Cruciate Ligament Injury and Reconstruction
in June of 2021, received  the research writing award for certified therapists for her work:
The Therapist-athlete relationship- psychological effects of kinesiophobia experience and injury rehabilitation.

Both papers are linked in topic and connect the psychology and mental aspects into rehab. This more recent paper was Gabby’s Masters Dissertation.
