Part 1 of 4: Tommy John Series Diagnosis, Procedure, Recovery

Mike Frostad is the Assistant Athletic Trainer with the Atlanta Braves, now in his 4th season there and 26th in professional baseball. We discuss Ulnar Collateral Ligament injury and go in-depth on diagnosis, repair and recovery from rupture. Tommy John surgery is reconstruction of the medial elbow ligament, typically torn through repetitive trauma of high-velocity/ high-volume throwing in baseball.
