CCCC Season 1 Episode 7: In Conversation with Emily Lara:

Emily Lara is a first generation Mexican/American student who was born and raised in Oregon. She graduated from George Fox University in December of 2019  with a Bachelors in psychology, a French minor as well as a Criminal Justice minor. She enjoys traveling and has been able to study abroad in places like France, Thailand and Cambodia. She has a passion to ensure equality, fairness, and justice for underrepresented populations. She pursued this passion by obtaining a job opportunity as an immigration paralegal, which happened to be where she had previously interned. She is currently studying to take the LSAT and hopes to become a criminal defense and immigration attorney to continue pursuing her passion and professional goals.

On this episode we try something new: we get to know Emily and her story then we dive into a juicy Career Coaching strategy session about her resume and her upcoming job interview for a new role!
