Have you ever felt the sting of being misunderstood? That painful moment when someone doesn't hear you, see you, or get you? The fear of being misunderstood can paralyze us from speaking truth and living authentically.

In this powerful exploration of John 8:48-59, we discover how Jesus handled being severely misunderstood and even verbally attacked. When religious leaders couldn't refute his message, they attacked his character—calling him demon-possessed and hurling racial slurs. Yet Jesus didn't get defensive or try to prove himself. Instead, he calmly redirected to his mission and ultimately made his boldest identity claim: "Before Abraham was, I AM."
